Weekly IPMAT Mock | Mock 16

I'll be sharing my scores here for discipline's sake.

1. SA - 24/60. Right on top of Peak score. Bad accuracy even excluding guess works. Made a silly error in Q2. I have consistently been making silly errors. Sometimes it is because I don't properly read question, sometimes it is because I make an error in answer itself, here for instance I somehow made a mistake while using calculator. Similarly in Q3 and Q4 I made a silly error. When I look again, I made another silly error in Q11, this time I did not properly read the question and misinterpreted what was being asked. Easily could've had +12 had I not made these silly errors.

2. MCQ :- 26/120. The peak score is in the range of 45~. So quite a bit behind. This time much better accuracy and less silly error, but a lot less question attempt. First, I did not attempt questions from many modern maths topic and geometry, this is because I haven't covered them yet. I did not attempt the DI set, but in retrospect it would've been more fruitful. The set was very doable, yet I skipped it because it was an arrangement question with many layers. There was a question where I spent 4 mins without reaching a solution. Not the best question picking either. I'll spend some more time analyzing the many different questions I did not attempt.
3. VA :- 109/180. The peak is at ~120. I am surprised the peak is this high. The PJ's were very difficult. I only dared attempt 2, got 1 correct. In Q9 I somehow chose the wrong option. It was misclick on my part, I think. And holy hell, sentence completion was pretty difficult. I skipped three and got two wrong and two right. Idioms and phrasal verbs are giving me difficult time, I have been compiling all the idioms/phrasal verbs I get wrong in my anki. It'll take some time to see tangible impact. Conversation analysis had one or two decently difficult question, otherwise easy. Sentence completion is dragging me down quite a bit I guess.

Overall, not a good score. Though the area where I need improvement is pretty clear - Reduce Silly error (Any advise will be appreciated), improve DI speed so that I can be confident answering lengthy DI, Put some effort on sentence completion.
