I passed my 12th in 2025 switched to IPMAT in November still somehow managed to get near borderline of cutoff. I am so desperate to get into IIM so I am taking partial drop. Can you all suggest me how to re-start this journey?

First of all check, if you can even attempt this (age requirement, etc) and then ask yourself do you really want to do this, in my opinion time is way more valuable then some college tag that you might not even get. Lastly, if you do end up deciding to go through with it, find a mentor, its can be anything that give you a reality check, a person who says your are shit when you are. As for schedules, that you build with your experience of how your brain works the best.
Good luck 👍

Hi there, in my personal opinion taking a double drop will not be worth it. Its better you divert that attention towards preparing for CAT if you really want an IIM. At the management UG level, double drop doesnt make sense since we have CAT as the main pipeline for IIMs and MBA in India. For fields like medicine and law where the most common (and technically the only viable) route is the entrance, you can opt for double drops. These are just my 2 cents; the decisions lies with you. All the very best for your future!
Thanks .I'll think about it.
Very well said! Also, you can request for the college charm from your forum profile!
