What is an effective mock schedule? et al

Hi all, I had a general query from the seasoned aspirants (and if Bhavesh bhaiya could give his two cents about it, that would be great.)

First of all, some context: I'm a drop year student having graduated high school earlier this year. I'm pursuing the IIM-B BBA (DBE) but haven't really given it the time of the day, and am falling behind. That was due to CLAT, as I focussed solely on clat prep and didn't do anything else thinking that once i'm done with CLAT, i'd have enough time. Now, unfortunately for me, my scores weren't upto the mark, and I might not even get a tier-2 NLU. I'm preparing for IPMAT again; scored 131 overall in IPMAT 2025, and i am a non-maths students so I really face alot of issues in QA. That was without any coaching btw.

Now, I wanted to know what is a good timeline for attempting mocks? At present, I'm thinking about watching the topic videos, attempting the practice test, then sectionals, and once I'm done with the syllabus by January itself, I will start giving mocks. Is this effective?

Are sectionals good enough? The thing is, I give VA sectionals, but for QA i just dont feel prepared enough, so i watch videos and attempt topic tests.

What, based off your experience, would you suggest my mock attempting timeline should look liike?

I would also appreciate any other advice you could give to me. No matter how menial/obvious it appears.
