HELP for improvement

Yeah. That's common, at one point the improvement doesn't come in the form of incremental jumps but rather in invisible small changes. In this case, the silver lining is that you're practicing enough to know your level. Now, when it comes to the actual struggle of going beyond level 2, the best method is by reading the solution. Like the questions you get wrong/skip, read their solutions. Identify the phrasing and what the question was looking for. And in the next attempt, look for those pointers and try to apply similar approaches. I call it- Pattern Recognition and it's especially useful in places like arithmetic where even though there are a million questions, they follow similar premises. If you are still struggling, I would recommend going over the theory/concept again because a second round can have unexpected benefits in the form where you start to think independently.

I used to struggle with the same issue as yours when I was preparing for ipmat. What I would advise is that for the questions you are getting wrong , analyse -

Were you familiar with these type of sub concept in the topic ?

If yes - then find out why did you get it wrong ?

If no - then write that question along with its solution in your notebook. Understand the solution thoroughly and try solving similar questions.

Slowly but surely you will get better.

The goal is not to just solve many questions , it is to make sure that whatever question you come across , you never get a similar type of question wrong.

First off, lets acknowledge that levels 3-4 of the topic tests are definitely challenging and test you really well. Also, the "stagnant" feeling is something I can personally relate to, and is a totally normal phase in IPMAT prep.

I just can't find myself taking the leap and extracting the most of out myself in the later parts.

I didn't exactly understand what you meant by "extracting the most of yourself", could you elaborate more on that? Here's what I can tell you from what I understood:

The most basic approach to quants goes somewhat like this:

1. You solve questions (you're already doing this, W)
2. You make mistakes/skip questions (you're seeing this at L3, esp in Arithmetic. This is the "gap identification" part.)
3. You see the solution, understand why you weren't able to solve, and try more questions of the same type, watch videos, etc. (the "gap filling" part.)

It's not a one day process, but this is broadly the guideline you should be following mentally.
