Hey! Expecting to clear the cutoffs for both BMS and BBA(FIA) at SSCBS this year but confused which one course to prefer. I don't have much clarity about what I want to pursue later on which makes BMS ideal but I also can't ignore that BFIA is better than BMS in a lot of aspects ig (or are they equally good?). I seem to have gotten a mindset that BMS is very bad in front of BBA FIA for some reason as most of the people are suggesting to take BFIA (ofc finance is a lucrative field) and I also think I will be able to study finance but what if I have no interest in it. Everyone around me suggests me that if I like numbers or maths or accounts, take BFIA and if I like BST, take BMS but I don't think it's that simple. Would love you suggestions.

No wrong answer per se -- BFIA is preferred by most (hence, the crowd is marginally more 'high-scoring').
Finance is also trendy, hence, BFIA becomes the first choice of people.
Almost 50% of the syllabus and classes also overlap.
Find if finance interests you by watching few lectures on YT, if it does, go for BFIA.
Gotcha! Thank youu..... Also is there something like if i take BFIA, so im just restricted to the finance field and i wont be able to switch fields later on if i dont like it?
Bro I have the same mindset problem, I don't like finance that much, but due to higher cut off for bba fia than bms I have made a notion that bba fia is superior to bms but deep inside I want to do bms
