I've been giving mocks regularly for some time now, and though my score has been increasing overall, my negative marks still tend to be in the -16 to -25 range. This makes a HUGE difference in ranks and percentile, a gamble I really don't want to make. A large part of it has to do with my mentality (risk hai to ishq hai - not anymore, apparently), and also the fact that I don't seem to be able to quantify how certain I am of a question. My educated guesses do hit once in a while, and I don't want to miss out on those marks entirely as well.

It looks like your QA is quite strong, while your VA is decent, and most of your negatives are coming from VA. But when you check your SWOT, you’ll notice that many of your VA topics actually fall either under strengths or are close to becoming strengths.
Since the rest of your areas are solid, you can tweak your mock strategy a bit. Specifically for VA, start from Q13 onwards. Once you get comfortable with the pace, begin attempting RCs, then move to parajumbles.
You should prolly watch lectures of integral solutions and time speed distance on yt!
Try Mock 12 once, you would surely gain confidence in va!

on Afterboards, about 25 (This includes Indore, Rohtak, JIPMAT and other exams as well) exclusively Indore- 10.
I am not preparing for ipmat rohtak rn, so can't suggest anything ;c

I am not exactly a senior (IPM 26) but I am quite good at LR(except statement and conclusions) , if you could tell me in which topic you face most difficulty in LR , I could try to help with that

Thank you so much! See the thing with me is, I haven't attended any professional coaching/ read any proper textbook for LR. I just dived straight into the mocks and I've been trying to figure things out the old fashioned way. This makes my overall approach quite unskilled, inept even. I'd love some input on that. I have included my SWOT so it would be great if you could guide me on my weaknesses, ( especially my arch-nemesis, Input Output)
Okay , so LR doesn't really have heavy theory base like Quant does .Most questions can be solved by simple logical ability , you would have realized that . But there are some tricks and techniques which could make the task much much easier . So it would be ideal if you go through that stuff once so that you know the standard questions and approaches . Then it is really about the ability and practice.
For input output I would say you should see video explanation of a few questions maybe on YouTube and just get to know how it works , once you get the basic idea, it will be way easier to spot patterns and solve questions . Then try practicing as many questions as possible and you will be good .
About the critical reasoning part , I am not really that good at it too .
where do you practice questions from? Other than mocks? Because there are no LR sectionals on Afterboards
I am enrolled at an institute of T.I.M.E and practiced LR from its booklets . It has been long , now I don't practice LR seperately just the one set in sectional tests and mocks.
But I am sure you can find content for practice online too
