I was going through the cutoff lists in the aftrbds DU Eligibility feature and checked SSCBS' cutoffs. They were far too low compared to top DU colleges that i saw (SRCC, Hansraj, St. Stevens, etc). This is confusing since I've assumed sscbs is a top tier college with high demand? Is the cutoff misrepresented or are there other factors at play?

oh my god ....u guys are finding it less?? i calclaute ....agg.% required is around 80...i am not able to move above 60
No! Not at all lol. I'm just very new to the entire CUET/DU system and admissions and I assumed like most colleges sscbs also considers 4 subjects (out of a 1000). Which admittedly, I was wrong. mb lol
Give a CUET mock (pyp) of all the required subjects (GAT, Maths and English) and you'll know why the cutoffs are "so low."
Very few people score above 200 (out of 250) in subjects like GAT and Maths.
Courses in SRCC, Hansraj, St. Stephen's and Hindu don't require you to appear for GAT necessarily (for commerce specific courses) unlike SSCBS and therefore the cut-offs seem to be relatively higher in numbers in those colleges.

Me being an aspirant too, was also confused, but when I checked on Google, its out of 3 subjects i.e 750 marks (GAT, Eng and Maths). And all three being the toughest sub., cutoff seems low but when you would compare your score it would seem apt.
Ohh that clears it up! Thanks.
