Doubts on video lectures

Sorry,for the dramatic title.I am recently contemplating whether upgrade to pro batch or not,i have skepticism about video lecture quality.I hope you guys share your experience about the video lectures productivity, concept application in sectional and topic tests, the foundation of a chapter and lastly. what are you surprise rate? I mean out of 10 how often do you feel surprise while looking at a question and thinking damn i never seen a question or concept like that even in video lectures.

I hope you guys help this junior out and can i please ask mods to boost this post,so everyone who is doubting video lectures can get a unbiased reviews from everyone and then decide , Thank you everyone who took time to study this post and appreciate those who decided to help ❤️

I'm a 27 tard too doing self-prep + AFTB (no traditional ipmat coaching).

Tbh, aftb vids are completely different from any other YT channel or coaching platform that drags things out with long-ass lectures. aftb actually put the main content in a short, direct, and concise way. The contrast is huge. u can watch a topic on YT for hours, but once u switch here, u realize how much faster u can get through it.

Just my personal take: I pair aftb with Arun Sharma for Quant. Reading the theory there and watching the vids here mostly suffices for me mostly.

Also, even if a bit of content seems reduced in the AFTB vids, it easily gets covered up when u solve the topic tests, qns attached to the vids, and sectionals on the platform. They are highly productive and will suffice, as long as u maintain proper consistency on your own.

I also have arun sharma but i can't understand the airs around it apart from first 2 sections, arithmetic and number system,the rest 3 sections are really weak especially counting section ,i have the 2026 edition,the questions feel really weak,what are your thoughts about it ?

i didn't give much of mocks or sectionals. gave some pyps, couple of mocks and qa scores varies around 40-56 in sa and around 70-90 ig
