i am dummy student from 11th studying for ipmat only havent started my 12th prepration dont even have a idea about the syllabus ( commerce+maths) i dont know where to start and if i start now will i be able to complete the entire syllabus and score good marks in boards? also regarding ipmat i am scoring 150s to 170s in mocks marks bieng constant not improving and the main issue there is when i start solving questions after the mock is over while analysing them i do not face my problem regarding time managment or something like that the main issue i am facing is ' us time nahi ho paya mujse " and i dont know what's the solution of this problem and at this pace can i lower my ipmat prep to focus on my boards? as i am not scoring good in ipmat mocks at the juncture what should i do? should i start focusing on my 12th more and leave the ipmat behind or do both 50-50?

The mistakes i am making in mocks is not any conceptual mistake its all time pressure i start attempting a question then see " are 2 minute hogye" then i leave it kyuki 2 minute me answer nhi aya to time waste nh krna and this happens very oftenly. Also the main mistake i make is the mistake of " question galat pad lia ya fir plus , minus ki mistake" basic presence of mind nahi ata while writing a mock i have completed ipmat syllabus but everytime a new mock teaches me something new also i have done most of the topic tests still lacking behind somehow! Not able to solve even the easiest question in mock i dont know if its exam panic or time pressure first 5 minutes to isme nikal jate h konsa attempt kru pehle? I tried ABC strategy by writing them but somehow it didnt worked for me from last 7,8mocks my score is not improving even a little its stuck between 150 to 175 not able to find where i am lacking
Do you really expect to solve every question in 2 minutes? Obviously not. Some questions take 60 seconds, some take 180 seconds, some could take 4 minutes too.
You're supposed to leave within the first 30 seconds if your solution is going nowhere. However, if you're in the process of getting the solution and you can visualise it coming to an end, spend 30-90 seconds more, no harm in it.
Having a strict hard-pass rule is not smart. When you have 15 SA questions in 40 minutes, that itself gives you a 2.66 mins. However, you're not here to solve all 15 questions. Let's say you choose and solve 10 of them (almost double the cutoff), that in itself gives you 4 minutes.
In MCQ, even if you pick and solve 10 questions properly, let's say you took 5 minutes to analyse, choose etc. You have 3.5 minutes for each of the 10 questions. That's 75% more time than your hard-pass.
Right now, you have mental-panic problem then (less of an academic problem). Keep practicing more (so your scope of question picking increases); plus, you're not supposed to write every question within ABC either.
got the problem will start working on it ! Thank you bhaiyaa and also if i dont have to write all the question numbers then how does ABC works? i know that i have to classify them on the basis of abhi karna hai badme karna hai and chorna hai .
Don't classify all 3. Just classify A and B for now, everything else belongs to C.
okay bhaiya thank youu
