Hello fellow peers! I've just come across the sample paper IIMB released for its UG Test, but it has no solutions given. Can someone please guide me on the following:-

Also, someone called IIMB's UG team -- they said topics like calculus and vectors would be tested. However, they didn't record the call (so, I don't have objective proof -- I only have the words of the student).

There have been conflicting responses from the admission team regarding whether applied mathematics is accepted or not — this suggests that the staff aren't well-coordinated. Perhaps they don't have a clue as to what will be asked in the exam?

But that's only taught to PCM students? (I'm also a JEE aspirant so I'm aware)... it's unfair to expect any other stream to cope with that.
It's taught in commerce+math too. Core math is the same, right?
Plus, it's also a BSc programme with Econ and Data-Science. It's a lot of math. If I were in 12th, I'd not choose this because I know my aukaat with calculus + I had more clarity over my interests.

Ahah, no worries -- retrospectively, my awareness was also a lot of rigidity ("I don't want to study X/Y").
In my year (2020-21), the classes of Commerce & PCM were merged when Maths was being taught (so, I'm assuming that the subject is the same) -- however, 'applied math' has lower levels of calculus and trigonometry (as far as what I've heard).
There is no trigonometry in applied mathematics, though there is a lil bit of calculus but usmei b trigonometry ka ek question b nii hota.

Maybe similar to IPMAT but it's definitely not UG sample paper. They'll most likely release the sample paper after the deadline of applications
