so i got accepted for bcom f&a (ca integrated) central campus for christ university but i am having second thoughts about doing ca since i realised i am not particularly interested in the subjects ( like law and taxation) however i do rlly like accounts (12th grade level at least), and i also dont wanna spend my entire college life JUST studying.
I kind of wanna apply again for the cfa integrated program in the second round in april but im kind of confused between the two courses cause on one hand, ca is not really aligned with what i wanna do in the long run. However, i can only give cfa during my third year of college and i know plenty of people who have done it alongside their ca or immediately after and this gives them a level up from the rest in most cases.
So, in conclusion i prefer the subjects in cfa more than ca but im also concerned about the competitive advantage ca has over cfa.
I would love advice on what i should do in this situation. (PS. i have been preparing for ca foundation and will be giving it in may)
