Hey bhavesh bhaiya
Ex ipmat aspirant my name is Rohan
Need some guidance and help
Unable to find anyone who could evaluate and understand
Profile is 8-8(9 if best of 5 is considered)
Messed up my class 10th due to sports and in class 12th i regained continuousness and dreamed of London school of economics.
Worked day and night for boards, was school topper in pre boards but at the end due to health issues (chronic nervous system inflammation) applied mathematics got messed up .
Went to clinical depression and had anxiety attacks unable to give improvement exam as well.
Went for career counseling who was a fraud, directed me to a shitty ipmat coaching.
Realized it too late after iim banglore ug exam in which i scored 92 percentile ( which was horrible)
Prepared on my own afterwards
Frozed in ipmat indore due too much pressure build up
Got call from rohtak
Jipmat score is 303
Didn't focused on cuet coz didn't got time
(score 691 GAT Combination studied hardly 20-25 days)
ROI factor of other private college are not logical.
Failed a drop year.
Joined tier 2 college MUJ in jaipur + open degree from Rajasthan University.
( CFA From 2nd year)
Wanna work in finance but college brand matter a lot in finance.
Most of the people are either from IITs ,bits or sscbs , SRCC, st Stephen's, du North.
In CAT many colleges are impossible due to bad academics i.e A,B,I and some other colleges
I Don't what is the practicality of MIM from abroad.
Thinking (not confirmed) of giving cuet again coz I am not satisfied with my performance and think I can do much better.
aiming for sscbs, sggcc, st Stephen's, hansraj ( SRCC is bit dicey due to normliazation and don't have that confidence that i will be able to )with partial drop and a open degree so that my CFA won't be delayed if I got through.
What is the worth of Taking a partial drop even if it works out roi in terms of college brand
Or DU is hyped up
Or CFA is a better plan which will make me more capable/employeble for the finance industry and add it to my profile as well help me CAT

To summarise:
You took a gap year, it didn't work as intended. You are doing MUJ + RU.
A partial drop for a top DU college makes sense in your case if your aim is finance. CFA with a top DU college helps more than just CFA. At the end of the day, it's your skills/competencies too.
iim bba dbe is little expensive as manipal university fees is 2.5 lac
open degree will save my 1 year for cfa if i get good du college i have to restart from 1st year but teachically i will be in 2nd year in the open degree
BBA-DBE is 4.5 lakhs for 3 years. The additional 2 lakhs is also something that you could perhaps make on your own with internships and freelancing. I personally find that to be more suitable.
Regardless, given the choices currently, I stand by my initial conclusion:

Got it but I am not telling parents that I am taking partial drop, for them it's just manipal(2.5x3=7.5 lac)+ CFA(From 2nd year)
They didn't allowed me for the online degree and said you only need one batchelor for CAT or CFA when I asked them earlier.
Even though I know the quality and worth of the bba dbe i can't opt for it.
Hold on, so Manipal is 7.5 lakhs for 3 years... DBE was 4.5 lakhs for three years.
How is BBA-DBE more expensive then?
I still feel that just BBA-DBE (albeit online) would have been good if you could supplement it with CFA and other on-site internships. I'd try to convince your parents otherwise.
Regardless, now that you've made your choices, stick to it and make the best out of it! All the best!
My parents didn't allow me for bba dbe stand alone they said if you want to pursue it, manage it with the regular college and according to them i failed ipmat so they don't have any confidence in me wheather I am capable.
And the cost of the whole bachlors degrees would stack like [7.5 lac+ 4.5lac bba dbe +CFA (4.5lac+ coaching 1.5 lac)]= 18 lac
On top of that i wanna take a partial drop for cuet.
The opportunity cost and money cost would exhauste me mentally that's why I didn't stack bba dbe .
Yes -- my perspective was to not do Manipal in itself. However, since you're doing it, are you finding value addition from it?
it's the backup for the partial drop and the college have some useful resources:-
What you've shared is a hygiene factor of almost any college/institution.
