I'm a reserved candidate (ST) who barely score 100 in ipmat and I somehow cleared iim amritsar but the problem it is my only option so far, I don't know if i wanna pursue such math intensive course because my base is weak and I'm not sure if I wanna pursue such a technical course. My parents and friends suggest to not drop amritsar but im not really sure as I'm worried if I fail to keep up w the math, it might tank cgpa. I'm waiting on jipmat results and rohtak 3rd list but I'm genuinely hopeless because neither my jipmat score is good. Please someone drop a word of advice. I'm paying the commitment fees to give myself more time before i have to pay term fees.

amritsar is a very specialized degree unlike any iims, in other iims the course is so vast which makes it difficult for everyone and not just you , but in amritsar most of your peers are either gonna be really passionate or they wont be having any choice other than amritsar...at the end you have to spend 3 years which is a hell lot of time..everyone says specialized degree best hoti hai but just see that are you really interested ...i am also an aspirant right now and when i see interivews of people who are currently in amritsar it is very clear the course is more hectic than any other ipm colleges so choose wisely....i m not a ipm student or anything but i hope this helps
Hey, thank you for advice. I'll keep that in mind. But so far my only options are still only amritsar, I got waitlied in type 2 in Bodhgaya, looking at this i don't think I'll clear jammu either but I'm paying the fees for amritsar and trying to work on my math basics.
