I've currently been waitlisted at Ranchi, Indore and Shillong and I've come to a realisation that none of them might convert. I scored 339 in JIPMAT 2026 as a general male and I have IIM BG acceptance with me. I feel like I can probably convert Jammu as well, but which one should I go to ? I've seen NIRF rankings so far and BG stands at 31 whilst Jammu stands at 35. Bg has a higher highest package, while jammu has a higher average so I'm just really confused. I don't really care about the small nuances that both have as of now (single rooms at Jammu, higher fee at Jammu, safety concerns at jammu, etc.). But I'd like to walk away with clarity in my head ki which one is better.

If you don't have the location problems then jammu is better anyday!

If i had been at your place (which im not, unfortunately), I would choose BG. Because, fee is less for BG, admin is chill and most importantly, I would get enough time to pursue other interests, lets say graphic designing, editing, etc etc because it is not as rigorous as jammu
