MY EXAM IS ON 20TH.
Super scared.fucked up ipmat and cuet is my only backup...with these scores im gonna get nowhere.😭 the major problem is time and accuracy. How do I improve please help 🥲. I really wanna get into a good college. Wanted to go to srcc for ba eco or sscbs. Got humbled by my maths scores. HOW CAN I IMPROVE!! in like the remaining 3 dayss aaahhh 😭😭😭😭

105-110 in maths fares 90%ile in maths (i am a dropper so i know)
if u are a commerce student focus more on domain subject as it fares more marks more easily

I know that in mathematics we do not need to score 240–245 to secure a 99th percentile like in Business Studies, but I still thought at least 185+ would be required to get a 95th percentile. However, since you mentioned you are a dropper, you might be right. By the way, I am currently scoring around 170–180 in Applied Mathematics, so do you have any tips for me?
If u have accts then apply for srcc with accts as maths is very hard to score compared to other subjects.
Yes, I do have Accountancy, and I have already taken the exam and am expecting around 240 marks. However, since I do not take Economics, my Mathematics marks will also be included in the total.

not quite :
lets say someone applies with
english + bst + Accts + eco
and u with
english + bst + accts + maths
since eco is mostly theoretical, it would be easier to score in a time constrained mcq test.
u might score in maths with 95-97%ile but the person might be in 95%ile in sco but have a normalized score of say-210.
in short people with theoretical subjects might have an upper hand when it comes to converting DU colleges.
if interested apply for BA eco or bsc stats these subjects have compulsory maths so it might help u out in some way.

The Applied Mathematics exam is on the 20th, along with English. The Accountancy exam went quite well, in fact, it went better for me than Business Studies, as I think the Business Studies paper for my shift was quite difficult. The Accountancy exam in my shift was a mix of both theory and numerical questions. :)))

when was ur bst shift? i also found my bst paper (12th morning) slightly confusing, accounts was way easier
Yes, we were in the same shift :)) May 12th, Shift 1. Two or three questions were quite confusing.
EXACTLY, I thought I was the only one who found it confusing. options of that TATA case study were weird
which shift for Bst? 13MayS2 for me, it was quite tricky and not as easy as previous shifts
12th May Shift 1 exam, 1–2 questions were tricky and one case study was also kinda shit. Apart from this, the other questions were easy. I am expecting around 230–234 marks, but I think normalization might increase my score by 4–6 marks for that shift, as many of my friends share the same opinion.

Yes, 120 marks got 92.5 percentile last year..
But you should not focus on that..
As SSCBS or any other college won't look at your percentile if you're not able to clear the cutoff
Target for anything above 190-200 if your other subjects are average..
Oh, in Maths, if you got a 92.5 percentile with 120/250 marks, then is a score of around 160 good for securing a seat in top North Campus colleges or in SSCBS?

I think you should try anything above 200 if paper's easy you'll get that easily if paper of difficult Normalisation will add some marks..
REALYY??! so i can leave like 10 questions and it would still be good score?..but if in normalisation scores decrease it would be harder to get in tier one colleges,right?
To be honest, I think the normalization process is very unpredictable, and only the NTA has all the necessary data. However, looking at past trends, a score of 170–180 in Mathematics is historically considered good. (im struggling to get even 160 ;/ )
