Solution

✅ Correct Option: 4

Deduct total partners' salary of 12,00012,000 from each year's profit: 18,00018,000, 24,00024,000 and 30,00030,000. Normal Profit =1,00,000×15%=15,000= 1,00,000 \times 15\% = 15,000.

Three-year average =24,000= 24,000, super profit =9,000= 9,000, goodwill =9,000×2=18,000= 9,000 \times 2 = 18,000.

Two-year average =27,000= 27,000, super profit =12,000= 12,000, goodwill =12,000×3=36,000= 12,000 \times 3 = 36,000.

The lower figure is 18,00018,000.
