Raj invested for the full 12 months, while Monty invested for, say $x$ months becase he joined a bit late.

So, $\frac{76000\times12}{57000x}=\frac{2}{1}$

$x=\frac{76000\times12}{57000\times2}=8$ months

Monty invested for 8 months, which would mean he joined after $12-8=4$ months
