Solution

✅ Correct Option: 1

Loss on issue == discount (10,000×10=1,00,000)(10,000 \times 10 = 1,00,000) plus premium on redemption (10,000×10=1,00,000)=2,00,000(10,000 \times 10 = 1,00,000) = 2,00,000. Securities premium available =70,000+(1,00,000×1)=1,70,000= 70,000 + (1,00,000 \times 1) = 1,70,000. Balance 2,00,000−1,70,000=30,0002,00,000 - 1,70,000 = 30,000 is written off to the Statement of Profit and Loss.
