Solution

✅ Correct Option: 4

Dinesh's old share is 3/83/8 and new share 1/31/3, so his sacrifice =3/8−1/3=1/24= 3/8 - 1/3 = 1/24. Revaluation profit and general reserve are distributed in the old ratio: 40,000×3/8=15,00040,000 \times 3/8 = 15,000 and 60,000×3/8=22,50060,000 \times 3/8 = 22,500. Goodwill and Workmen Compensation Reserve are adjusted only for the change in ratio: 6,00,000×1/24=25,0006,00,000 \times 1/24 = 25,000 and 4,80,000×1/24=20,0004,80,000 \times 1/24 = 20,000.
