Solution

✅ Correct Option: 4

Capital employed = net assets less fictitious assets =1,05,000−5,000=1,00,000= 1,05,000 - 5,000 = 1,00,000. Normal profit =10%×1,00,000=10,000= 10\% \times 1,00,000 = 10,000. Super profit =12,000−10,000=2,000= 12,000 - 10,000 = 2,000. Goodwill =2,000×100/10=20,000= 2,000 \times 100/10 = 20,000.

Note: Net assets are already stated after outside liabilities, so the separately given external liabilities of Rs 20,000 are not deducted a second time.
