Calculate Siya's share of goodwill.

Solution

✅ Correct Option: 3

Siya's capital of 60,00060,000 buys 15\frac{1}{5} share, so total capital of the firm =60,000×5=3,00,000= 60,000 \times 5 = 3,00,000.

Combined capital of all partners =80,000+50,000+60,000=1,90,000= 80,000 + 50,000 + 60,000 = 1,90,000.

Goodwill of firm =3,00,000−1,90,000=1,10,000= 3,00,000 - 1,90,000 = 1,10,000.

Siya's share =15×1,10,000=22,000= \frac{1}{5} \times 1,10,000 = 22,000.
