(A) Adverb is a word which describes or adds to the meaning of a verb.

(B) 'Always, often, rarely, never and ever' are adverbs of frequency.

(C) Kate doesn't always get up early.

(D) Do they come late to school usually ?

Choose the correct answer from the options given below :

Solution

Correct Option: 4

A is a correct definition. B correctly lists adverbs of frequency. C uses the adverb always correctly before the main verb in a negative sentence. D is awkward: usually should come before the main verb, as in Do they usually come late to school. So A, B and C are correct.
