c. Realisation expenses amount to Rs. 2,000.

Identify the amount realised in cash from Sundry Debtors.

Solution

✅ Correct Option: 4

Meena took over debtors of book value Rs. 50,000, which does not bring any cash to the firm (it is adjusted in her capital). The remaining debtors of Rs. 53,000 book value realised Rs. 51,000 in cash. Hence cash actually realised from Sundry Debtors =51,000= 51{,}000.
