IPMAT Indore 2025
Accepted by IIM Shillong, IIM Ranchi, IIM Amritsar, IIM SirmaurIPMAT Indore 2025 was conducted by IIM Indore on 12 May 2025 (2pm - 4pm). There were 15 SA, 30 MCQ and 45 VA questions. Each section was of 40 minutes.
5% students were called for interview:
As per IIM Indore's RTI: 16,357 aspirants secured a positive score in each of the sections with 818 (5%) students getting an interview call.
Quants—Easy SA section, hardest MCQ section, simple DI set:
The short-answer (SA) section was easy and high-scoring thanks to the 3-question-set on arrangements. The quants multiple-choice section (MCQ) was extremely hard (20% cutoff drop) but featured a simple DI set (tabular-data).
We saw 7 geometry questions (triangles, circles, straight-lines) but only 4 questions from arithmetic. There were 5 questions from quadratic eduations and 4 questions from logarithm and progressions each!
Verbal Ability—Moderate but lengthy:
The verbal ability (VA) section saw a surprise third comprehension (conversation analysis instead of incorrect words) making Harry Potter fans very happy!
IPMAT Rohtak 2025
IIM Rohtak doesn't release PYPs anymore (only 2019 and 2020 are available).IPMAT Rohtak 2025 was conducted on 5 May 2025 (9am - 11am). There were 3 sections (QA, VA, LR) with 40 questions each. The exam had no sectional time limits.
7.86% students were called for interview (198 seats):
12,883 students wrote the test with 1013 getting an interview call. IPMAT Rohtak cutoffs increased by ~25%, highlighting the exam's unpredictable nature.
Quants—Easy and arithmetic-heavy:
The quantitative ability (QA) section was extremely easy and majorly consisted question from SI/CI, TSD, T&W, probability and geometry. There was one ambiguous question from Ratio & Proportion. The trick was to not waste time by getting stuck.
Verbal—Tricky but straightforward RCs:
The verbal ability (VA) section was slightly tricky. It consisted of a mix of fill in the blank questions, parajumbles and vocabulary questions. The RCs were easy with straightforward questions.
Logical Reasoning—Easiest of all the 3 sections:
The logical reasoning (LR) section was very easy. A variety of topics were tested. There were no data interpretation (DI) questions. There were one or two QA questions in the LR section.
JIPMAT 2025
JIPMAT 2025 was conducted by NTA on 26 April 2025 (3pm - 5:30pm) for admission into IPM at IIM Jammu (140 seats) and IIM Bodh Gaya (120 seats). ~13,000 candidates appeared for the examination.
Quants—Hardest Ever (IPMAT Indore-Styled):
The median score was 23/132 marks. Arithmetic (~12 questions) was the most tested, followed by Geometry and Algebra (~7 questions each). There were 2 questions where the correct statements had to be chosen and one 'match the list' question.
Logical Reasoning—Moderate & Straight-Forward:
Data Interpretation sets (8 questions covering tabular and pie charts) demanding careful calculation. Visual reasoning was significant with questions on image-based puzzles, dice, series, and reflection. Problems included multi-statement puzzles (e.g., blood relations, marriage arrangements) and arrangements.
Verbal Ability—Easy to Moderate:
Only one comprehension passage (3 questions) and one cloze test passage (5 questions). Grammar and Vocabulary questions were prominent, featuring error identification, sentence improvement, punctuation, synonyms (proscribe, callous), antonyms (collosal, entreaty), one-word substitution, and idioms. A 'match the list' featuring foreign words was also tested.
IIM-K (BMSAT) 2025
IIM Kozhikode's BMS Aptitude Test (BMSAT) 2025 was conducted on 22 June 2025 (2pm - 4pm).
There were 50 VA and 50 QA questions. Each section was 60 minutes. An on-screen calculator was provided. The paper was sectionally timed and you could neither submit a section before time nor go back to a section that you had submitted previously.
IIM-B (BBA-DBE) 2025
IIM Bangalore's BBA-DBE TEST 2025 was conducted on 20 July 2025 (2pm - 3:30pm).
There were 20 questions in VA and QA each along with 10 questions in GK and LR each making a total of 60 questions to be done in 90 minutes.
The paper had no sectional timings and you could navigate through all the sections at your own pace.
