WHY MY APPROACH IS WRONG.This qs is from JEE MAINS 2021
A group of 40 students appeared in an examination of 3 subjects - Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry. It was found that all students passed in at least one of the subjects, 20 students passed in Mathematics, 25 students passed in Physics, 16 students passed in Chemistry, at most 11 students passed in both Mathematics and Physics, at most 15 students passed in both Physics and Chemistry, at most 15 students passed in both Mathematics and Chemistry. The maximum number of students passed in all the three subjects is _____.

In this basically you have to PUT IN values ( DONT SOLVE IT ALGEBRAICALLY )
It can easily be infered that x*** is lesser than or equal to 11***
so with that all you have to do is put 11, when u put in 11 you will realise that IT IS NOT POSSIBLE.
after that just put in 10 and arrive to a configuration which is possible !!!
(This ques is specifically meant to trick you)

I am naturally good at quants! I tend to leave questions if they are time taking and see from the last 10 sectionals and mocks, I am just getting bad in modern maths! Still, I believe the questions were time consuming hence I have not attempted, so these topics are in my opportunities and weaknesses. And the remaining modern maths topics like log and matrices, I consider them as my strong topics. Even if I am low on time I tend to gamble; and I admit I have lost marks on them!
