This is the overly complicated solution on the portal, whereas this question is an AP, where common difference is log(1/rootb) and the sum can be found in 4-5 simple steps using the formula of sum of AP. Now I don't really mind since I could figure this out and didn't rely on the solution here but for students who are unable to solve the question and go to solution for help and find this mess, they are just gonna leave it and think the question is hard. It's not the first time I've come across such overly complicated solution, it happened quite a few time while attempting topic test and I've reported, that is send feedback on how the solution can be better but doing that too is demotivating for me because I don't get updated on my report, if my input was taken into consideration and if the solution was updated.
