not about ipmat but boards or you could say school exams, never in my life i have imagined this score and i haven't scored this bad till yet.
I had my midterms last week and i scored lets just say around 50% (80M exam) I messed up things which i knew, messed up the easiest thing one could ever imagine. I performed shit even in the easiest topic like goodwill for god's sake.
its not that i don't know the topics, I do know the topics and i was able to solve questions qt home but id say i lack exposure to questions, or time management. i performed shit in exam, theres no excuse for that but i really wanna know how to recover from this now
im ready to put my all in starting from today. I also go to tuitions for accountancy but idk if it has helped me significantly. I didn't go to one back in 11th grade but performed way better than how i am today.
id appreciate all the inputs

hey!
ive gone thru exactly what you're going thru rn. 11th and 12th grade really do hit you over and over and push you down to rock bottom and also the secret level below rock bottom that you didn't even know existed 😠ðŸ˜
the first thing I would tell is to cut yourself some slack. youve probably been preparing for ipmat, you have to go to a lot of classes and the level of difficulty and the amount of syllabus of accountancy increases a lot from grade 11 to grade 12. i struggled with it, and most people I know did too. it's normal to fall behind at times, so forgive yourself for slipping up.
however, you also have to make a concerted and disciplined effort to get back on track and reach your potential. the first step is to open ts grewal and just read everything. understand the concepts and do not hesitate to ask your teachers doubts, whether it be the school teacher or the tuition one. don't get embarassed, don't gloss over a concept thinking ye utna important hai bhi nahi. don't be passive while reading; say it out loud or underline it wtv works for you. then move on to the solved illustrations and practice every single one without looking at the answers and then compare honestly. if u struggle, good. that's how learning happens. mark all the important illustrations and points so you can review them while revising. after you're done with the illustrations, solve the questions at the back. and of course, as they say, practise is a life saver. i must've gone thru like 10 really thick notebooks just solving things over and over and over. once you're done with chapters, keep going back, revising the notes you made and concepts you marked. keep resolving illustrations, and js cuz you're doing book 2 don't forget about book 1. look up pyqs and aggressively solve then all. yes it is time consuming, yes it's repetitive and extremely boring, but trust me, it will all be worth in when you sit in the board exam and flip the pages and realise you know everything.
and one last thing, analyse the hell out for every paper you give. buy test series, look at your answer sheets after every test and exam and ruthlessly find your mistakes and go deep into the concept of the problem and into why you got them wrong. keep asking yourself why, and remember, no reason is a bad one. all of them are valid, it's just important to identify them truthfully to yourself and making small changes to eliminate them.
have faith in yourself. I've seen so many ppl just begin to believe they're incapable of doing anything cuz of one bad exam (me included) but you can always improve, always do better, as long as you trust that you can. all the best! you can do this!
same here broo...as some who never got less than 65 (out of 80) and as someone who is considered in top 5 student....I slipped down to 41 !!!(15th)
yea ofc ik the problem is time management
but yea its my results...have to do it myself!
so we should better let go the past....(tbh its not that diffcult , maybe its all in our head)
but yea there are MANY other factors( it may differ for you)
All in all...
believe in urself
u WILL do it!!
but the first step....let go the past greives ...not the lesson..just the bad, self doubt feeling
ur are already capable!!!
bas time management hi improve karna hai!!😛
and ig (this is what I believe),I have to be ruthless , I should not consider my self as a victim of acadmic pressure....rather lets go head on.....if I havent done good in this ....GONNA ACE THE NEXT ONE!!!!
JUST CONVERT IT IN ANY POSITIVE DIRECTION,
AND PLS,
PLS LET IT GO!!! FEEL THE EMOTION SORT THEM OUT....LET THEM EXIT OUR MIND!!!
BELIEVE IN URSELF!!
add info🫣: u r not alone.....the only difference is that you have posted itðŸ˜ðŸ˜
broo y do i look like chatGPTðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜

Bro I get you
I had faced the exact same thing in my 12th mig terms after topping accounts since 11th(i scored 39)
Its just cuz you dont get enough time to cover all the concepts in mids
So jusyt chill
I didnt have a ttn in 11th or 12th I just followed CA parag gupta sir's vids for both years
( It paid off I scored 100 in boards and 250 in cuet)
Just don't let this put you down and see where you went wrong
I always only did the illustrations because we can see where we are making an error and how to do the presentation
look ik you must be thinking you jave forgotten the book 1 ( partnership ) but just do 5-10 qiues each and you'll be good to go
shares and debenetures are the easiest chapters ( ca parag sir's 2024 playlist MUST do your future self will thank you)
