IPMAT Rohatak Academic weightage

I want to ask that the weightage incuded in overall composite score after interview. that is 20% for class 12 and 10% for class 10 . will that be counted on the basis of any best 5 from the marksheet. I have six subjects

I have 73% if best 5 of class 12 and 69% for aggregate and 74% in class 10. should I even consider perparing for it as it is totally different in exam pattern from IPMAT and JIPMAT.

74/73 as a gen-candidate -> Rohtak is pretty impossible unfortunately. You'll have more chances in Indore than Ranchi.

so there isn't a slight possibility? i am already out of IIM Kozhikode because i don't stand a chance even if i score 100 percentile. can you tell me where do i stand a chance

Unfortunately not.

Focus on the colleges that have low weightage to boards: Indore, Ranchi, BodhGaya, Jammu (maybe), Sirmaur, Sambalpur, Amritsar, Shillong.

in comparison to a guy who has 95 in class 10 and 12. I am 6.5 points deficit

Rohtak doesn't provide the percentage to points conversion, how did you calculate the 6.5?

i just did 73 divide by 100 and multiplied it by 2

Ah, so that is definitely not what Rohtak is doing. They probably have a linear system based on our reverse engineering but they also have some kind of penalty for lower scores and they're truncating the marks for sure. I suspect it's 13/40 (marks 60 to 100). However, this is just a speculation based on primary surveys.

assuming 409 being the cutoff for Gen category and to be at an equal level with high acad student I am asked to be 100 %ile nahhh. hell naww

But the cutoff could also be 303. Welcome to the land of ambiguity, ahah.
