Whats a safe score for IIM Sirmaur and Sambhalpur any ideas?

The document is the ATS cutoff. ATS is calculated by taking into account the test scores, interview scores, past acads and your gender.

Sirmaur doesnt follow sectional cutoffs -- and with a 141, I think its going to be borderline. However, with a good interview and nice points in the acads section, you have a real shot.

What are your acads?

The selection process is 55% IPMAT, 30% Interview, and 10% Academics, wherein:

Class 10th Board (5%):

• >95% = 5 points

• 90%–95% = 4 points

• 80%–90% = 3 points

Class 12th Board (5%):

• >95% = 5 points

• 90%–95% = 4 points

• 80%–90% = 3 points

Although Sirmaur is much easier to get in as compared to the other IIMs, you will stil need a good interview. Unfortunately, if you are not a woman or a transgender, you lose on 5% of the diversity points in the ATS, but dont worry -- you have a shot at Sirmaur. Also, the waitlist at Sirmaur moves much more than Gen-2 IIMs, so that could work in your favour.

Be calm and prepare well for the interview.

PS: Im a fellow aspirant except I took a partial drop. I scored 151 last year and did have the option for Sirmaur, so my advice is based off my personal experience. Take it with a grain of salt.
