Indian Institute of Management Amritsar (IIM Amritsar) is a Public Business School and an Institute of National Importance located in Amritsar, Punjab, India, established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development in 2015. It is one of the young members of the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) Umbrella. The institute was inaugurated by Surjit Singh Rakhra, the then Minister of Higher Education and Languages, Punjab on 6 August 2015.
